How to upload videos from Youtube or Vimeo to add to your On-Demand classes. 

You can upload your existing content from YouTube or Vimeo. It’s super simple - just follow the steps below.

First, navigate to your On-Demand tab, click on Add On-Demand, and then Upload On-Demand.

In the pop-up window, paste the URL to your video. To get the URL, open your video on YouTube or Vimeo, click on the Share button, and copy the link.

Click Continue and on the next page you will be able to customize the On-Demand class details before posting:

 

Click Post Video and you are done! You have successfully added an On-Demand class. You can now add it to a collection, hide it or delete it as you wish.

 

What settings should I use for my YouTube video?

With YouTube, our recommendation is to set your video visibility as Unlisted. Additionally, make sure the following two settings are kept as default:

- License and distribution field is set to the Standard YouTube License

- Allow embedding is checked

 

What settings should I use for my Vimeo video?

When editing the privacy setting for your video on Vimeo, make sure to have the following settings:


  1. Where can this be embedded? is set to Anywhere
  2. Privacy settings should be set to Hide from Vimeo 

                     

My users are reporting "Video unavailable" when trying to watch my Youtube videos.

If you, or your clients see this message, it means that your video has music which YouTube has licensed for you.

YouTube automatically ads music licenses to videos that contain licensed music - doing this allows YouTube to keep the video up, and not remove it for licensing violations. This also means that the videos will not play on 3rd party websites, such as Moxie.
