We know that health insurance is a major pain point for independent fitness coaches. To eliminate the stress of securing coverage for you and your family, we’ve partnered with Stride Health to provide Moxie coaches access to a fully customizable suite of affordable health benefits and additional perks.

Our partnership marks the first time a fitness company has enabled this level of benefits to self-employed coaches, regardless of the amount of money they earn or the number of classes they teach.

Stride Health

Moxie instructors can enroll in health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage and access a bevy of customizable benefits through our partner, Stride. Through moxie.stridehealth.com, Moxie coaches can research health insurance plan options and sign up for coverage in under 10 minutes.

Stride offers a wider selection of plans than Healthcare.gov and state exchanges, and by law, all prices are the same as what you’d find on the government sites. Stride’s recommendation tool also helps you create a personalized health plan, so you can find the perfect plan for you and your family.

Additionally, Moxie instructors can speak directly to Stride’s concierge team of health advocates via phone, chat, or email. The Stride concierge team will help you navigate their website and app and even help you choose a plan. Plus, they can advise you on your eligibility for financial assistance and tax credits and help you easily obtain them.

What specific benefits are provided through Moxie's partnership with Stride?

Through the Moxie x Stride partnership coaches gain access to the following benefits and more:

  • Health Insurance: Stride will search through all of the Affordable Care Act health insurance plans available to you, check to see if you qualify for financial assistance and tax credits, and help you choose the right plan. On average, Stride members save $360 per month on health insurance, and 40% pay less than $25 per month for coverage. You can get started here and it literally takes only 10 minutes to apply.

  • Dental Insurance: Stride's plans start at just $30 per month, come with two checkups per year, and are accepted at over 300,000 locations. You can learn more here.

  • Vision Insurance: Stride's plans start at just $9 per month, cover $120 per year in eyewear, and are accepted at over 80,000 locations. You can learn more here.

What do I need to do in order to qualify for Moxie x Stride benefits?

All Moxie instructors qualify for benefits, regardless of the amount of money they earn or the number of classes they teach.

Any Moxie instructor can access and obtain the benefits at moxie.stidehealth.com or through the Benefits tab on your Moxie profile.

 

What happens if I stop teaching on Moxie? Do I lose my benefits?

You can keep your Stride account and any health, vision, and dental benefits you obtained through Moxie x Stride even if you stop teaching on Moxie. However you may lose access to any possible, additional perks provided by Moxie within the Stride platform. Connect with the Stride team if you plan to stop teaching on Moxie. 

 

What if I want more than an ACA plan?

Our partnership with Stride is a first step. Over time we hope to offer Moxie instructors a wide range of affordable health coverage options.
