Information on Moxie's cancelation and refund policy, for attendees.

Membership cancelations by instructor

If an instructor cancels a membership, students will automatically be issued a pro-rated refund in Moxie credits covering the remainder of the current billing period. For subscriptions, if canceled by the instructor you will not be charged for any additional billing cycles. Moxie credits can be used toward paid classes or membership purchases on the platform. 


Class cancelations by instructor

For drop-in attendees. If an instructor cancels a class before it starts, the amount already paid by any drop-in attendee will be reversed from the instructor’s account and returned to each student as Moxie credits.


For package holders. For instructor class cancelations, any attendee who reserved the class with a pass will have the pass returned to their account.


For subscribers. Subscribers are unaffected by instructor class cancelations - they can cancel their upcoming subscription renewals at any time.


For Moxie Pass members. For instructor class cancelations, any attendee who reserved the class with Moxie Pass tickets will have their tickets returned to their account. 


No-shows by instructor

For drop-in attendees. The amount already paid by any drop-in attendee would be reversed from the instructor’s account and returned to each student as Moxie credits.


For package holders. For instructor no-shows, any attendee who reserved the class with a pass would have the pass returned to their account.


For subscribers. Subscribers are unaffected by instructor class cancelations - they can cancel their upcoming subscription renewals at any time.


For Moxie Pass members. For instructor no-shows, any attendee who reserved the class with Moxie Pass tickets will have their tickets returned to their account. 


Cancelations by attendees

Attendees can cancel their class reservations up to 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the class.

For drop-in attendees. If a drop-in attendee cancels a paid reservation within the allowable time, they will automatically receive Moxie credits. If they do not cancel the reservation within the allowable time and miss their class, their payment is forfeited to the instructor.


For package holders. If an attendee reserved class with a pass and canceled the reservation within the allowable time, they will receive the pass back. If they do not cancel in time, their pass is not returned and the instructor would be paid out as normal.


For subscribers. If a subscriber cancels their reservation or does not show up for their reserved class, it has no impact on their subscription.


For Moxie Pass members. If a Moxie Pass member cancels their reservation within the allowable time, they will receive their tickets back. If they do not cancel in time, their tickets will not be returned and the instructor would be paid out as normal. 


No-shows by attendees

If an attendee does not show up for a class they will automatically forfeit their payment.


Technical Issues

If you are unable to join a Moxie class due to technical difficulties, or if you get dropped from the class, please contact support@moxie.xyz and we’ll be glad to assist you. You having a great Moxie experience is of utmost importance to us.


Refunds

Moxie issues Moxie credits by default to resolve customer service issues.

To request a refund, please contact us at support@moxie.xyz. Moxie reserves the right to approve or deny a user refund requests at its sole discretion.


Flex Pay

Flex Pay one-time payments are non-refundable.


Memberships

Memberships are non-refundable for the current billing period. You can cancel your membership at any time and not be charged for the next billing cycle (steps listed here.)

If you believe that you are due a refund for your subscription, please contact us at support@moxie.xyz. Moxie reserves the right to approve or deny a user refund requests at its sole discretion.


Moxie Pass 

You can cancel your Moxie Pass at any time before your next billing cycle without penalty to avoid any future charges or obligations. You can also cancel during the free trial period without any future charges or obligations. Once your card has been charged for a billing cycle, all sales are final.
