Prerequisites

Moxie's Share Audio feature currently only works on the Google Chrome browser on a laptop/desktop computer.

How to Share Audio

Inside the Moxie Studio, click on the Share Music icon on the bottom bar.

A pop-up window will appear on your screen (make sure you allow pop-ups on Moxie.xyz). Inside the window you will see 3 options. Follow these steps in order to share your audio.

  1. Select Chrome Tab

  2. Choose the listed tab playing your audio

  3. Check Share Audio on the bottom left of the popup

  4. Press the Share button on bottom right

How to Adjust Audio Volume

To adjust the shared audio volume - change it from within the Chrome tab your audio is being shared from. We recommend keeping the volume on the tab itself around 30%.

How to Stop Playback
You can stop sharing music by clicking on the Share Music icon again, or by clicking Stop on the top banner on your browser window.

Can I share an audio file?

Yes, you can simply drag your audio file into a clank Google Chrome tab, and it will start playing.

Music Playback & Copyright

If you prefer to share audio on your own, for the time being, it is up to you to comply with relevant music rights and licensing laws. There are many royalty-free playlists on Spotify and similar music players that you can feel free to use.

Are there additional terms for sharing audio?
You are responsible for the content you use or share during your classes. Please review our Terms and Conditions for more details. Moxie has a legal obligation to take down any content that receives a complaint under the Digital Millennium Copyright-Act (DMCA).
